Hello! This is my fourth year teaching third grade at Evans Elementary and I'm looking forward to a great year! I spent three years teaching in the United Arab Emirates before moving back to the States in 2019. Teaching overseas was an amazing experience that I'll always treasure. I love to travel and have been to over 15 different countries. I also love music. I grew up in a music filled house with my mom as a proficient violinist and my father as a music leader at our church. I play violin and have also picked up a little guitar, keyboard, and ukulele. I also love living in Colorado because it's a great place to get outside and go hiking or camping or just enjoy the beautiful creation that surrounds us!

As a teacher, I am passionate about making my classroom a safe and warm place for students to learn and grow. It is basically a second home for us all! I am always looking for ways to become a better teacher and am currently seeking to further my skills in teaching literacy specifically by working on a Masters degree through UC Denver.
