Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Brooke Erzen
I am so excited to be starting my 20th year of teaching, and my fourth year at Stetson Elementary. I was born and raised in Northern California. I received my bachelor's degree from San Diego State University and my credential from California State University of San Marcos. I have taken continuing education classes towards getting my master's degree at California State East Bay.
I have known since I was little that I wanted to be a teacher, it is my passion. I feel so fortunate that I get to wake up every day and go to a job that I love. My first teaching position was in Antioch, California and stayed at that school for 16 years, teaching grades 1st, 3rd, and 4th. It was very hard to leave because I have family (and all of my old students!) still there, but I am excited to start this new chapter in my life.
My husband and I have been married for 11 years and have two daughters. John and his family are from the Springs and we have always wanted to make the big jump and move, and we finally did it last year! My girls are 8 and 11, my little loves.
I feel extremely lucky to get to spend time growing and learning with your child this year. My goal is to instill confidence and the joy of learning in every child.
Please feel free to contact me at anytime, as I believe that parent and teacher communication is the key to having a successful year with your child.
I am so excited about starting this 2022 year at this wonderful school!
