Ms. Madison Pockrus

Ms. Pockrus began her career at WHES in 2019. She graduated with degrees in Music Education and Flute Performance in 2019.

In our general music class, students will get the opportunity to dance, sing, and play a variety of instruments, such as the ukulele, hand drums, triangles, shakers and xylophones. Students will learn many different musical skills and even get the opportunity to write their own music. Music allows students to learn about various topics, concepts, and cultures in a creative and expressive way.

Both music and teaching have been life-long passions of mine and I am so excited to see each of your students in music this year. We are excited to announce that the after-school band and choir will be making a comeback this year. Choir will be offered to all 4th and 5th graders and band will be offered to all 5th graders. Keep an eye out for more information on that.
