Greetings Firebirds! It is an absolute honor to be here at FMS for a fourth year and teach our students about Health. I grew up in D49 attending Woodmen Hills, Meridian Ranch, FMS, and graduating from FHS in 2012. Falcon Middle and its fantastic teachers were such a big part of my life that I knew I wanted to give back. This school had a big impact on my life and my primary goal is to be a part of a positive impact on our student's lives as well. My secondary goal as your FMS Health teacher is to have all students showering and wearing deodorant regularly!

A little bit about me:

I have a beautiful son and daughter, two dogs, a cat, a bunny, and a lovely woman at home who tolerated me enough to marry me. When I am not busy with my family I enjoy sports, the outdoors, and playing video games. I use my passion for physical activity and Nerdom to coach wrestling for the middle school and help run the FMS Gaming Club.

I attended CSU in Fort Collins and studied Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport's Medicine. After university I worked in a physical therapy office for two years. I loved working with the patients and teaching them about how different types of exercises help the body recover from pain and injuries. With the guidance of some educator patients I took this love of building relationships and teaching people and turned it into a career in teaching. I now use my knowledge to do my very best to teach students the importance of healthy behaviors and prepare them for the Health Academy available at FHS.
