Hello and welcome to your first year of Middle School!

My name is Ms. Vari and this will be my fifth year teaching as part of the Firebird team here at Falcon Middle School!

I am originally from Parker, Colorado and I received my B.A. in History and Anthropology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. For awhile I worked in museums and with historic sites around the state and some abroad, where I developed a love of learning and a desire to get into teaching. I then went back to school at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley where I received my teaching certification and licensure as well as my Masters in Curriculum Studies.

Here at FMS I keep myself quite busy by sponsoring several clubs and activities, including STUCO, Anime Club, Student International Trips, and sometimes helping the amazing Mrs. Telljohn with yearbook.

I believe that History is like telling a story and revolves around excellent research and presentation skills. In my classroom you can expect a hands-on approach to working with History and a variety of interesting projects and presentation methods.
