Mrs. Janine Sangiorgi started her teaching career in 1997 at an NYC high school. She has taught middle and high school math and science in NY, CA, GA, and CO. Her favorite age group and subject to teach is middle school science. She has her Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Stony Brook, NY; completed all but thesis in a Masters in Academic and Experimental Psychology at East Carolina University, NC; and completed her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Phoenix (online). Mrs. Sangiorgi has been a Teacher Liaison with the Space Foundation since 2011 and loves engaging students with space-themed content. She got her first taste for international travel in 1990 when she traveled to Thailand with the Peace Corps. When she is not teaching, she enjoys camping, hiking, reading, reenacting medieval times with the SCA, and playing MMO video games with friends located all around the country.
