I spent my life traveling the country and the world as a result of being a Air Force brat. Living abroad provided me the opportunity to travel to countries like Australia and Thailand, exposing me to new cultures and new people. After settling into one place for more than three years, I completed high school and college in the state of Colorado.

I initially began my college career at CSU as an undecided major and realized that this school wasn't for me. I then transferred to UCCS where I completed a undergraduate degree in History with a focus in education and a minor in creative writing. After transferring I knew that the education field was right for me because I settled into my schools with little to no problem. I completed the majority of my student internship at Horizon Middle School before snagging an official job the following school year. This will be my third year officially teaching at Horizon Middle School and couldn't be happier!
