  • District 49's Digital Backpack contains advertising flyers, banners, pamphlets, brochures and other documents submitted by the district's business partners. The materials are neither sponsored nor endorsed by District 49's Board of Education, its chief education officer or any zone or school officials. It is our policy to permit the distribution of event fliers by all outside groups, so long as the fliers do not violate what's considered "unacceptable" material in Board Policy KHC, Distribution and Posting of Non-curricular Material.

Military Child Education Coalition Developed by MCEC, this one-day course enables youth-serving educators, professionals, and parents to support the unique transitional issues children face when their parents separate from the military. The course also addresses the challenges of children whose parents have died or experienced combat-related injuries and illnesses. Participants will develop strategies and resources to help these children thrive.

Boys and Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region Join us this summer as the Boys & Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region hosts 7 weeks of summer camps all about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)! Camps will engage members in the exploration of four different themes to give campers a greater understanding of STEM and how it effects their daily lives. Price includes a camp t-shirt, one field trip per week and two snacks per day. Campers will be required to bring a nut free lunch that does not need to be refrigerated or microwaved.
