Hello! My name is Teri Armes.  I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from York College, in York, Nebraska. I began teaching in 2002 and I have taught kindergarten, first and second grade.  I have also had the opportunity to support children in special education.

I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and two sweet daughters.  As a family we enjoy the outdoors as much as we can!  Bike riding and camping are among our favorite activities to do as a family.  

I am thrilled to be teaching kindergarten. Kindergarten is my love! Among many things in my classroom, we value risk-taking and cooperative learning.  We take ownership of our own learning and we celebrate our successes. After all, if it's worth learning it's worth celebrating! We focus on having a growth mindset where we have the mentality that we CAN learn, we CAN do hard things and that although we make mistakes, it is proof that we are trying and improving.  We don't say that we can't do it...we just can't do it YET.
