This is my third year teaching in Colorado and at Sand Creek High School.  I have 5 years of experience teaching high school  and 2 years of experience teaching college chemistry labs at Pittsburg State University.  I earned a B.A. in Chemistry from Ripon College and an M.S. in Chemistry from LSU-Baton Rouge.  After 2 years of working as a researcher in pharmaceutical chemistry, I changed my career to teaching, so that I can share my enthusiasm for science with my students.

            In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and camping with my family.  Our favorite places in Colorado include Paint Mines, 11 Mile State Park, Florissant Fossil Beds, the Great Sand Dunes National Park, and Cheyenne Mountain State Park.
