My name is Tara Yates I was born and raised in North Dakota where I earned a BA degree in Early Childhood Development.  Right after college I married my husband who was stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs. I have taught early childhood since I moved to Colorado 17 years ago.  My true passion and love is teaching young children and helping parents understand their role as their child’s first and most important teacher. I love the work I do and really enjoy getting the chance to work with a diverse group of young learners teaching the Odyssey preschool class!  I have two boys of my own who are 12 and 5 years old. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends.
