Hello Evans Families!

My name is Monica Bornholdt and I am a special education teacher in the Cognitive Support Needs program. I have been a special education teacher for over 13 years. Prior to becoming a SPED teacher, I was a paraprofessional in a Severe Needs Program in a neighboring district.  I enjoy the challenge and watching the students progress and grow! I am a strong believer that every child has the ability to learn, communicate, and progress in life. Each child is unique and valuable to us. When I am not teaching, I enjoy walking, running, hiking, swimming laps, and spending time with my family. I love the beauty of Colorado and do not take it for granted. I am so thankful and blessed to be at this amazingly supportive and positive school, supporting your child! Please feel free to contact me anytime! 

The Cognitive Support Needs program has four paraprofessionals, Renee Rivera, Michelle Suggs and Samantha Suggs, and Lauren Frikken. These are talented and skilled ladies that help support your child. With them, our team is amazing!
