Mrs. Christy Jensen
Hello! My name is Christy Jensen and I am thrilled to be a part of the second grade team at Meridian Ranch. Before coming to MRES I taught for several years in sunny southern California. After several years teaching kindergarten and first grade, I have loved the past five years teaching second grade! I earned my Bachelor's degree in Human Development from California State University, Long Beach and my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from California State University, Bakersfield.
I love all aspects of teaching and strive to create lifelong learners in my classroom. When I am not teaching, I enjoy baking, playing golf, shopping, and taking my Golden Retriever, Honey, for walks.
