Welcome to Horizon Middle School! I am entering my seventh year as the Business Education teacher and eleven years of full-time teaching here at Horizon! I truly believe that knowledge is power, and learning is best achieved through engaging, fun and purposeful activities. I am passionate about providing our students with the academic & life skills they will need to be successful in middle school and beyond. I truly believe in the power of Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs and how much our students benefit from the exposure and wonderful instruction provided by these programs. Business Education classes include Computer Applications, Personal Finance and Career Exploration. 

My personal interests are watching football (especially college), track & field, exercising (Zumba!), reading and spending time with my ever-expanding family. Family is my #1 love. Although we have long settled into our local community, in my heart I will always be part of the worldwide military community as well.
