Hello!  My name is Sara Scroggins.  I’m proud to be a member of the ALLIES family as a Take Flight Reading Therapist.  It is a blessing to work with students in a small group setting to help them “crack the code” of reading.

My path to becoming an educator started as I completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and Masters of Education in the Exceptional Child (K–12) program at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho.  In 2002, I took a position in D49 as a special education teacher.  I was blessed to work in that position for 15 years. Then, I was able to go back to school to become a Take Flight Therapist.   The biggest joy in my life comes from family.  We love to travel, explore and spend time together.  In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis.

It is a true honor to work at ALLIES to help provide encouragement and a growth mindset attitude to our students. I want my students to be good learners so they will be active learners to grow their brains.  From this, they can be mindful problem solvers.  I’m passionate about helping my students grow and have a love for learning.
