I am so excited about the opportunity to be your Math Professor this year; I truly consider it a privilege.  I can hardly wait to begin our adventurous and productive year.  I have been teaching young people since 2001.  As a Math student, there are many exciting learning opportunities waiting for you!  Together we will be investigating Colorado Math Standards.  This adventure will allow our minds to be challenged through Place Value, Problem Solving, addition/subtraction, and multiplication/division and so much more.  My goal is to maintain an enjoyable place for everyone to learn and be successful.  In our classroom, you will be encouraged when you succeed and also encouraged when you don’t.  I know that you have high expectations for your school year, but keep in mind that my expectations for you are just as high!!  On a personal note, I was born in Michigan but grew up in this beautiful state.  My husband’s retirement from the military allowed my family to make Colorado our permanent home.  I live here with my husband, two sons and two energetic boxers.
