I know how important music is to the growing brain so I strive to teach the "whole child". I am lucky enough to be living my dream - teeaching choir!! This begins my 26th year of teaching and fifth year at middle school.

I graduated from Falcon High School and recieved my B.A. in K-12 vocal and instrumental music from Adams State College.

I have been married to my husband Dave Chapman for 26 years and we have two boys: one at Kansas Wesleyan University and one at SCHS.  We also have three fur babies - a lab mix puppy, a rat terrior mix and one cat.

When I am not at school, you can catch me watching my boys play baseball.  I never thought I would like baseball but I LOVE it!!  I volunteer quit a bit at Sand Creek High School as the athletic booster club president and in the consessions stand.  I am also a photographer and love to scrapbook.
