Hello! My name is Ellie Engman and I am part of the first grade team.  This year will be my 10th year teaching first grade, and my 8th year at Ridgeview.  I absolutely love working with young students and guiding them through the process of discovery.

I also enjoy traveling, challenging myself to try new things, and learning about different cultures. I’ve had some amazing teaching experiences in India, Korea, and here in Colorado. In my free time I’m usually playing with my son, dabbling in art, reading, gardening, or trying out new Pinterest ideas. 

My goal is to build meaningful connections with each student and celebrate each child as a valuable member of our classroom community. I look forward to an exciting year of growth!
