Pikes Peak School of Expeditionary Learning staff members took our annual spring institute training. This year our focus is a constructivist classroom and an integrated-interdisciplinary model. This work leads to revision of our expeditions (curricula). PPSEL leadership team is in Denver on June 6-7 developing their work plan goals for the year. This is accomplished with other leadership of the Mountain Region of Expeditionary Learning. Four PPSEL staff members are scheduled to attend the EL 101 conference in July. This is training for new or newer staff to learn more about our model and begin to align their practices with PPSEL values. The school is beginning to plan its School of Choice Week event for January.
