Mrs. Vannessa Steenbock
I have been teaching since 2005 and had a calling to the field of education from a young age. My grandparents were not able to finish school due to family obligations and other circumstances, yet they knew education was so important. After seeing each of their kids finish high school and continue on to college, my grandparents received their GEDs. Their committment to education was so important that I wanted to continue my own education and encourage others to love learning.
I am a Colorado native, born in Pueblo and raised mostly in Colorado Springs. I can't imagine living anywhere else. I love the fact that I can be hiking in the mountains, along with my husband and two dogs, within a matter of minutes.
