Welcome to Vista Ridge High School! I am so glad to be here at Vista. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  

My family moved here from Virginia my senior year of high school.  I graduated from Doherty HS and attended the University of Southern Colorado, now called CSU-Pueblo, where I competed in both Cross Country and Track.  I started my teaching career over 25 years ago after getting my degree in Industrial Science and Technology with emphasis in math and coaching.  Over the course of my teaching career I have taught all levels of education ranging from pre-school to post-secondary in a variety of different roles.  I have also had the opportunity to coach several sports, track and cross country being closest to my heart.  

Living in the district I have watched the district grow both geographically and academically.  I have 3 children who have attended local schools, my oldest is now at CSU in Fort Collins where he is pursuing his passion in music and my younger to attend Vista Ridge. Being a part of the community is very important; I have enjoyed being a part of boy scouts, girl scouts, landsharks, band boosters and the PTA.  I look forward to seeing everyone at the football and basketball games, band concerts and plays.  Hoping to see those events return this year.

When I am not at school I enjoy hanging out with my kids, doing puzzles, hiking and camping, and running. One day I hope to do a triathlon.
