Katherine Nunn

Mrs. Nunn's love of books began at a young age snuggled up with a book and her mother. So much of her life has been explored with a book in hand.  Every summer she would anxiously await a visit to the bookstore as vacation began...  it was tradition. Those traditions have shaped who she is and she has carried them on with her own children.
A passion for reading and desire to share that enthusiasm with others caused Mrs. Nunn to gravitate towards working in the library. After volunteering an increasing amount of time in the library, she officially became the school's ParaLibrarian in 2016. It is her joy to act as travel guide so that our Odyssey students can explore the many adventures and worlds available to them in the library and beyond.
Mrs. Nunn is passionate about helping students explore their interests in the Personalized Learning Lab and during Opportuniy times in the Comet Learning Commons. Students have an opportunity to explore STEAM activities while working on Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical Thinking skills.  She also passionately leads our Reading Odyssey program each year, when we share the experience of reading a book together as a community.
"Books are the plane, the train, and the road. They are the destination and the journey. They are home. " -Anna Quindlen
