Mrs. Lombardo

I am so excited about beginning my eighth year at Woodmen Hills Elementary! I have been teaching for 24 years at a variety of grade levels. The first two years of my career were in Illinois as a third grade teacher. Then I moved to Colorado and spent 15 years teaching in Widefield School District. During my time in Widefield, I taught 5th, a 3rd/4th combination class, junior high language arts, 3rd, and 2nd grade. I absolutely love 2nd graders! This age shows so much growth through the school year and it's exciting to see how much they've learned and matured by the end of the school year! My heart belongs to second graders and their sweet nature.

I have been married for 18 years to my husband, Andru, who is retired from the Air Force. We have a Chihuahua mix (Ginger) and a Yorkie (Charlie) that we love dearly, as well as a horse (Gioia) and a mini horse (Little Si). We moved to a rural neighborhood near Falcon nine years ago and we absolutely love the peace and quiet! During my free time, I enjoy horseback riding, hiking, walking my dogs, doing HIIT workouts, going on bike rides, gardening, baking, and indulging in TV watching.

I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know the students and parents of Woodmen Hills Second Graders! It's going to be a great year!
