Science Department

Degrees and Certifications:

B.S. in Biology from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs

Mrs. Natalie Bousfield

This will be my sixth year at Vista Ridge High School. I am excited to begin another fun-filled year of science. I have a great passion for the subject science and believe students should take a hands-on inquiry approach to learning. I aim to share my passion with my students and encourage them to investigate the world with a scientific mind. I expect my students to try their very best and apply themselves to all their studies.

In the past I have taught Biology, Honors Biology, Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, and Biomedical Science II: Human Body Systems.

For the 2020-2021 school year I will be teaching Chemistry, Biomedical Science II: Human Body Systems and Biomecial Science III: Medical Interventions. For all my classes I will use Schoology. This site will have all assignments and other necessary course materials. This is also where students will submit assignments.

Each class we will begin on Zoom. Zoom meeting invite information is located on the student's Schoology calendar.

In addition to teaching, I am also the advisor for HOSA. My fellow advisors are Steven Cook and Miranda Clemens. To access our HOSA page to view more about what HOSA is, requirements for HOSA, and other announcements please click here.
