Hello!

My name is Kate Callahan and I will be teaching second grade this school year.  I grew up in Maine and love everything outdoors.  My family has always been big into athletics, so I played sports year round!  I have a wonderful husband named Josh and a baby boy named Cody.   

I earned my teaching degree at Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire, where I also played basketball.  After graduation in 2010, I hit the road for a new adventure and ended up here in Colorado.  

I have a total of ten years of teaching experience in Pre-K, First Grade, Third Grade, Reading Specialist, and the last two and a half years I have spent as an Instructional Coach.  After the birth of my son last fall, I decided to take a few months off to be with him.  Second Grade has always been the grade I want to teach, so I am so happy for this opportunity!
