FHS Standards-based Grading Survey for Parents

    The Falcon High School standards-based grading survey for parents and guardians, conducted during the 2014-2015 school year, opened ahead of winter break. It closed at 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 16. Parents and guardians were notified via multiple email messages, website announcements and various offline communications. We heard from 239 parents and guardians.

    We value student opinion. The Falcon High School standards-based grading survey for students, conducted during the 2014-2015 school year, was administered in school on paper in January. We heard from 1,067 students.

    As learning coaches, our teachers are the executors of our grading processes. The Falcon High School standards-based grading survey for teachers, conducted during the 2014-2015 school year, was administered in school on paper Jan. 16. We heard from 53 teachers.

These survey results will be part of the discussion on standards based grading at Falcon High School during the special meeting of the District 49 Board of Education on Wednesday, January 28th, 2015.
