    Varsity/JV/C Intensive Summer Camps

    These camps prepares 9-12 grade boys for the mental and physical rigors of high school competition.  Each day consists of classroom work and on-the-court drills and instruction. This is a very important opportunity for those preparing to compete at the varsity level.
    Summer Basketball School
    This 5 day instructional camp offers students in grades 3-8 one week of quality instruction in the fundamentals of basketball It also introduces young players to the Vista Ridge Basketball culture and philosophy in order to better prepare them for success both on and off the court. The information and skills taught serve as the foundation of instruction for all of our other programs.
    Fall Shooting Academy
    The fall shooting academy, open to students in grades 3-10, takes place in September. They'll get an opportunity to learn and develop proper fundamentals, techniques and strategies as they relate to individual offensive basketball.
    Winter Basketball Academy
    The winter basketball academy takes place Jan.-Feb.  Participants will get an organized, instructional basketball program that introduces young players in this area to the Vista Ridge System, Methodology and Philosophy, and prepares youngsters for future success in both basketball and life.

    3. Participate in five instructional clinics for skill set development and three-on-three application

    POWER Zone League

    The POWER Zone League, open to students in grades 3-6, takes place Feb.-Mar.   As an extension of our Winter Basketball Academy, it provides students an opportunity to apply the skill-sets learned in an instructional and organized competitive program. In addition, emphasis is placed on the development of good listening skills, enthusiasm, intensity, sportsmanship and positive mental and physical "stance."

    • Players evaluated and teams assembled based on parity
    • 2 skill set team practice sessions per week at Power Zone elementary schools
    • 4 Saturdays of 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 play-plus-skill competitions
