Ms. Amy Hoober

This is my 13th year at Springs Ranch, and I'm thrilled to work at such a great school. I'm very excited to be providing academic support to many students, even those without identified disabilities. As a school, we are constantly improving our approach to Response to Intervention, and are working together to meet the needs of any struggling students. This gives me to opportunity to work within grade level classrooms, integrating supports through a more inclusive model.

I received my bachelor's and master's of science degrees in elementary and special education from Kansas State University. I've taught students in preschool through 8th grade in Kansas, Oregon, Alaska and Colorado. I have over  19 years experience in education. I also have extensive training beyond my degrees in Literacy and Mathematics instruction, assessment, and data collection/analysis.
