Parents and students, I am happy to be teaching fourth grade at Meridian Ranch Elementary School once again! I am going into my eleventh year of teaching and I could not be more excited to teach your child! I have taught technology for one year, third grade for one year, and fourth grade going on nine years. In May 2010, I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Northern Colorado. I graduated with my Master's Degree in reading from Grand Canyon University in September 2016. 

 

     I have lived in Colorado Springs for a little over nine years now. My husband, John, and I were married in May 2018. We welcomed our first child, Lincoln, in May 2019. Our little boy is full of energy at all times and constantly keeps us on our toes. In our house we also have an eight year old chocolate lab named Boagrius (Bo), a six year old yellow lab named Sasha, and an extremely energetic four year old cat named Remington (Remi). I enjoy playing with them every day when I return home from school and I never miss an opportunity to take plenty of pictures of them! My sister, brother in law, two nephews, and a niece live in Brandon, South Dakota. My parents recently moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico, so during our school breaks I plan to do some road tripping.

 

I know this year will be an exciting one full of many learning experiences. Throughout this year, your child will be encouraged to collaborate, think critically, and apply their knowledge in a variety of ways.
