Nicole Sides

Nicole Sides is currently serving as the Sand Creek Zone Dean of Applied and Advanced Learning. 

Mrs. Sides has been a part of the Sand Creek High School community since it opened in 1997. She has served as teacher, IB Coordinator, Teacher Leader and now Zone Dean.
 
This is her 30th year in education and she could not be prouder that 25 of them have been at Sand Creek High School. "Sand Creek High School and its students have my heart. Our students are outstanding and a joy every day! There is no better school, no better students and community to be a part of. And now, to be in a position where I can help students access careers and college - priceless. I'm a Scorpion forever!" 
 
Sides' husband is an assistant principal in D38 and together they have 2 children who they enjoy watching participate in their sports and activities.

Mrs. Alyssa Nicholson

Alyssa Nicholson is currently serving District 49 as the Dean of Student Success at Sand Creek High School.

Nicholson has been at Sand Creek High School for the past 10 years, initially as a Social Studies teacher, then transitioning to the Business Department and beginning her administration career as a Teacher Leader. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Communications from Colorado State University and her Masters from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs.

"I love being a part of Creek Nation," shared Nicholson. "I want all students to have the best high school experience and I am dedicated to student success."

Nicholson and her husband have two sons. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Michael Sory

Mr. Sory has worked in High Schools for over twenty years as a teacher, coach, dean and assistant principal.  Prior to working in High School, Mr. Sory was a college admission counselor.
