Hello Woodmen Hills Students, Families, and Community,

It is an honor to return to Tornado Nation and serve as your assistant principal! I have been a member of the District 49 Community for 13 years, and, I am so excited to continue my journey at WHES. My goal is to serve alongside Mrs. Stegman and support the Falcon Zone's focus on engaging, enhancing, and elevating learning and teaching; while also supporting Woodmen Hill's mission to empower the whole child, build relationships, and collaborate.    

I like to say that I've been in education most of my life, from helping my grandma in her classroom as a child to tutoring students while in high school; however, my career began in 2010. I have served in many capacities in D49, including being a third-grade classroom teacher, K-5 Personalized Learning, and Personalized Learning Instructional Coach. I am thankful for my experience and opportunities in D49 and I am looking forward to continuing to serve the D49 community at Woodmen Hills! 

Aside from school, I spend the rest of my time with my family! I have lived in Colorado Springs for the majority of my life. My husband was born and raised in a small town in Nebraska. Thankfully, the Army sent my husband to Colorado Springs, where we met nine years ago! We have three incredible children and spend most of our time exploring zoos, museums, and the stunning "backyard" of Colorado!
