Hello!  I am Melissa Worthem.  I have been teaching Special Education for the past twenty-some years. Most of that time has been spent here at Horizon.  I love being a Panther!  Horizon has always felt like home to me and I hope that my students feel the same.  I am looking forward to starting the year and excited to get to know students.  I teach Functional Academics and Life Skills, but also enjoy doing service-learning projects with my students.
