I moved here from California 16 years ago. This will be my twenty-first year teaching. I taught 4th grade for 20 years.  I am so excited for the opportunity to teacher 2nd grade. This will be my 16 year at Springs Ranch Elementary.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Education with an emphasis in Multicultural Issues from Chico State University in California. Homework

Students can expect to receive homework assignments daily, which will consist of Math, Writing, and Reading.  Any extra homework is usually work that has not been completed during class, yet needs to be completed and returned the next day.

Each student will be required to use a homework planner.  This is my way of keeping lines of communication open between school and home.  It is your child’s responsibility to check the homework board and fill out his/her planner at the end of each day.  The planner should be reviewed and signed by you every evening and returned by your child the next morning with the completed work.
