Welcome to the Fabulous World of First Grade!  This is my 23rd year teaching and my 21st year teaching first grade!  I taught 2nd grade my first two years of teaching.  As you can see....first grade is my passion when it comes to my teaching career!  First grade is an absolutely amazing year for each child!!!  They grow in every aspect of their life!  They become better readers, writers, mathematicians, and grow socially and emotionally! First graders are always excited to learn and it is my job to fulfill that excitement with love, passion and knowledge.  They teach me something new everyday and are truly one of the bright spots in my life.  My other bright spots are my family.  I have an adorable, energetic 4year old boy that is full of smiles, hugs, and laughter,  a handsome 13 year old boy that is in fifth grade, who keeps me busy outside of school with his love of sports.  I enjoy going to the mountains to ride ATV's, sight seeing and shopping. I look forward to each day, I get to spend with my family and my first graders!  Life is Fabulous and we try to make the most of each day! I am honored to be able to teach your children and I look forward to working with each of you to help make your child have a successful, memorable year in first grade.
