Hello families!  This is my 25th year teaching and my 19th year at Evans.  I have two children.  One is in college and the other attends Sand Creek HS.  We enjoy outdoor activities together, cooking, and family game night!  As Reading Interventionist, I will be meeting with students identified as needing extra support in reading to help them meet their reading goals.  Provided below are links to resources for reading, as well as math resources you may use.

    www.starfall.com - This website offers practice in basic reading and math skills, measurement, and geometry.

     

    Websites and Apps primarily for 3 - 5........

    www.coolmath4kids.com - provides an amusement park of math games and problem solving games

     

    Websites for ALL grades......

    www.oakdale.k12.ca.us - This website provides homework help with the math curriculum used in your student's classroom.  It also has helpful newsletters describing what your child is learning and gives examples. There are also videos links to see examples of how to use the skills being taught.

    xtramath.org - This website provides fact practice in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division practice. Your student may be using this website in their classrooms.  Ask their teacher for the code to join their classroom, or create your own log-in to use.  You DO NOT need to purchase the app to use this website.

    www.khanacademy.org - This website provides video instruction on many math topics.  Good for parents and students. 

    www.adaptedmind.com - Choose your grade level and skills for your student to practice.  You can also create worksheets for extra practice.
