Hello, my name is Nicholas Nelson, and I am so excited to be teaching music this school year at Stetson!  I am originally from Eagle Point, Oregon and after high school I moved to Kentucky to attend Western Kentucky University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. After graduating I moved out here to beautiful Colorado Springs!  This will be my first year teaching and I can’t wait to share my love and passion for music with all of the students at Stetson Elementary. When I am not teaching I enjoy fly fishing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I couldn’t be more excited to be working here in D49 and can’t wait for an amazing year!
