I am beyond excited to be with your children at this wonderful school! Stetson Elementary, the  staff and students, won my heart when I first stepped foot into it last school year as a substitute teacher. I can’t wait to create a classroom community with your children’s input that is inclusive and loving. 

I was born and raised in Germany. My parents instilled a love for teaching in me at an early age. All my life I knew that working with children was my passion. Although I studied education in Germany 20 years ago, it took until 2021 for me to receive a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Benedictine College in Atchison, KS. Prior to making the decision to attend college in America, I worked as a para-educator and preschool assistant.

My husband and I have been married for 18 years and have a beautiful daughter, Emma who is 16 and a junior at Sand Creek Highschool. We spent many years moving to different places due to my husband’s career in the US Army. He retired in 2020 and we relocated to this gorgeous town that we now get to call our home. In my spare time I enjoy nature, especially my own backyard and going on long hikes with our dog.
