I am excited to be starting my 18th year of teaching at Stetson Elementary School. I have been associated with Stetson Elementary for almost twenty-five years. First as a mother of children attending Stetson, then as a special education aide, then attendance secretary, and finally, as a licensed teacher. I received my bachelor’s degree from Regis University in Elementary Education, and my master’s degree in Information and Literacy Technology from the University of Colorado - Denver.

Getting to spend the day with happy cheerful children who want to learn is the best job ever! I consider myself extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to get to know your children and help them on their educational journey. My goal is to have your children enjoy going to school and learning!

My husband and I have been married for forty-one years, and have two children. My daughter Ashton lives in the Denver area, and my son is Special Forces in the Army and is stationed at Ft. Lewis outside of Seattle.

Parents are welcomed and encouraged to help out in the classroom once they have been through the district volunteer process.
