Mrs. Kristine Kelleher

I am excited and proud to be a kindergarten teacher here at Stetson Elementary School in Colorado Springs, Colorado!  I can't believe this is my 26th year of teaching.  Wow!  Time sure flies when you're having fun!  This profession continues to truly feel like an honor and a priviledge to be able to educate the amazing minds of the young students who enter my classroom community each school year.

My teaching career began after I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  My professional experience includes teaching in the following grade levels:  four years as a Resource teacher (one of those years being in middle school), six years teaching third grade, six years as a second grade teacher, and six years teaching first grade.  This is my fourth year to teach kindergarten, and I couldn't be happier to complete another year here at Stetson Elementary! I am often asked what grade level is my favorite to teach; fortunately, I have loved all of my teaching positions!

My husband and I have been blessed with a son and a daughter, ages seventeen, and fifteen.  They keep me pretty busy when I'm not at school.  As a family, we enjoy visiting relatives, camping in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, swimming, hiking and relaxing at home with our sweet dog, Max.

Thank you for taking a minute to find out more about me.  I love being a teacher!!!  I can be reached via email (, or you can leave me a voice mail by calling Stetson Elementary at (719) 495-1149 X6241.
