Check your school's online calendar for school-specific details. Each school's website calendar publishes an iCal feed for syncing mobile and desktop computers. Subscribing to a school's iCal online calendar connects it to your own calendar. Whenever a school makes changes to its calendar, those changes automatically appear in your calendar.
When syncing your calendar program to a district or school iCal feed, be sure to setup update intervals. Google Calendar will automatically check for updates, but changes often take up to 24 hours to publish.

Student October Count
The pupil enrollment count date is Oct. 1 of each year, unless that date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or major religious holiday. If the pupil enrollment count date falls on one of those days, the pupil enrollment count date will be the following school day. On that day, District 49 collects its October student count data for the Colorado Department of Education. This information is needed for the required student level data provided by state statute, including student funding eligibility as outlined in the Public School Finance Act of 1994, as amended (22-54-101, C.R.S.). -
Professional Learning Communities
High schools are afforded late starts to provide educators extra collaborative time. In Falcon Zone and Sand Creek Zone, these late starts occur on Fridays, where as POWER Zone hosts them on Thursdays. Prior to the 2015-2016 school year, late starts occurred on Wednesdays.
