I am beginning my 21st year of teaching (16th year at HMS).  Before I came here, I taught at my first school; Emerson Edison Academy (Currently Jack Swiggert) on Pikes Peak avenue. I love teaching Language Arts and providing your children with the communication skills they will need as they begin  their lifelong journey.

I have a lovely wife (Jill) and a beautiful daughter (Jessica, 15) and have been happily married for thirty-one years this October. I received my Masters degree (in Curriculum and Instruction  (University of Colorado @ Colorado Springs). I enjoy reading, writing, skiing, and hiking, but most of all being a husband and dad.
