Hi everyone,

My name is Whitney Apodaca and I am very excited for the school year!  I am an 8th grade Social Studies teacher. This is my 12th year at HMS and my 14th year teaching. I love teaching U.S. history because it is my favorite topic and is so relevant to us as Americans. I plan to have a lot of fun exploring our nation this school year!

I have lived in Colorado Springs for 18 years and love to spend time with my family, husband Aaron, daughter Quinn, (9 years) and son Bennett (5 years) in our beautiful state.  I also spend my time cooking and cheering on my favorite team, the Denver Broncos, and try to go to as many games as I can.
