Eighth Grade English
Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Bethany Champlin
I am so excited to be returning to Firebird Nation for the twelfth year! D49 is truly my home as I attended kindergarten through 12th grade in this district; I even went to FMS and graduated from Falcon High School. I graduated from UCCS with my Bachelor of Arts in English and my secondary teaching license in 2010. I have taught both 7th and 8th grade, reading, writing, and am excited to focus on 8th writing this year! When I'm not in the classroom, I love spending time with my husband and sons (Gabe-8 and Josiah-4), and our new german shepherd puppy, Luna.
I am looking forward to getting to know each and every student in my class. I am excited to help each child develop their skills in reading and writing and instill in them a passion for learning and working together.
