The 2016-2017 cultural compass survey is open from Friday, Dec. 9, to Tuesday, Jan. 31. The district's leadership teams would like maximum participation with this instrument, which provides valuable insight into the district's dynamic school culture. The results of prior surveys gave valuable insight that helped the district's leaders work on important issues, such as expanding student awareness of Safe2Tell, or increasing school safety training, and emphasizing a need for student character development (anti-bullying) programs.
Parents and guardians: Please do not instruct your student to take this anonymous survey again at home. While parents are provided updates through the district's communications department, student-level participation is school led. School administration teams are focused on empowering all students to take their student survey at school.
Estimated completion times are indicated at the beginning of each survey. There are optional open-ended questions, to include an opportunity to share a story about your school, in which more time may be required. While you may receive communications, including live chats on this page asking about your participation, any data you provide District 49 is kept confidential.
