Mrs. Wasson has been teaching English at FHS for the last 8 years. Mrs. Wasson grew up in Dubuque, Iowa, graduating from Hempstead High School in 2002. She then went to the University of Northern Iowa (Cedar Falls) and earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Language and Literature and Secondary Teaching. After living and teaching in Nebraska for a while, Mrs. Wasson moved to Colorado Springs in the fall of 2012, where she began teaching at Falcon High School. Mrs. Wasson has two Masters of Arts/Education degrees in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Secondary Reading (Chadron State College-2011) and Educational Administration (Grand Canyon University-2014). In her spare time, Mrs. Wasson enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, cooking/baking, and traveling.
