Nicole Croney

Hello! My name is Nicole Croney and let me start by saying I am very excited to be a first-year second grade teacher here at IVES! I have worked in District 49 for almost 6 years as a paraprofessional in a variety of settings. In 2020, right before COVID, I was one of three district finalists to receive a scholarship from District 49 and Western Governors University to go back to school and obtain my teaching degree! I recently graduated Western Governors University with a dual license in both Elementary Education K-6, and Special Education Generalist, ages 5-21. I am very passionate about little people and teaching!

I moved to Colorado with my family about 6 years ago from the Pacific Northwest, and have never looked back. We love the sunshine, outdoors, and many beautiful things that this amazing state has to offer. I live in Falcon with my husband and our three daughters, ages 17,16, and 12. We love camping, hiking, and anything that involves sunshine and adventure. My hobbies include drinking coffee (in the sunshine of course!), anything that involves a creative outlet such as crafting or decorating, and spending time with my family.

I am very excited for this upcoming year, and have no doubt that together, we will make it an amazing learning opportunity for your child. I am available for any questions or concerns that you may have, and cannot wait to get to know you and your child. Let’s make second grade an amazing experience for your kiddo!
