Hi there! 

I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the 1st grade team at IVES and to be working with your children. Teaching is a second career for me and one of deep passion. After my daughter started school, I moved into the education field and have had the joy of teaching both 3rd and 5th grades during my time. I am most passionate about developing student relationships and encouraging students to meet their potential. I am a firm believer in growth mindset and the power of YET! I know that we are going to grow and thrive together in our classroom and I cannot wait to meet my incredible students. 

I am moving from Florida to Colorado Springs with my husband of 13 years, Ryan, our children Michaela and Hudson, and our pets; a shepard named Poppy seed, a cat named Taco, and a leopard gecko named Clementine. We cannot wait to see all that Colorado has to offer and are most excited to be outdoors and enjoy our very first snowy winter. 

As much as I value the relationships with my students, I value my relationships with families too. Please know, that I prioritize communication and hope to keep an open line available to families for any needs/questions you might have.
