Hi,

My name is Heidi McClure and I am the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (CLDE) teacher for Ridgeview Elementary.  I am so excited to be on this journey of partnering with families to support Multilingual Learners in becoming academically and socially fluent in English. I completed a Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from UCCS in 2020 and started teaching CLDE classes. For many years prior to this, I taught general education classes at Ridgeview, working with many CLDE students and families.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family going camping, fishing, and swimming.  I love to read, chat with friends over coffee, and cook for family and friends.
