Welcome to 6th Grade!

My name is Abbey Calderin and I am honored to be helping your child learn and grow this year! I am a Colorado Native. I have lived my whole life in the Colorado Springs area. I love everthing this state and community has to offer. This is my eleventh year teaching. I have spent all eleven years in the Sand Creek Zone. I started my teaching journey at Evans Elementary teaching 4th grade, then coninuted at Springs Ranch Elementary where I have taught math the past several years. I am beyond excited to be part of the Panther Family! 

My husband and I have two daughters who are nine and five years old. We have two dogs, a couple of reptiles and 15 chickens! As a family we love the outdoors and spending time together. I have a passion for learning and math, but most of all, a passion for working with kids! Our class will be full of learning and laughs, and I can't wait to get to know your child.
