Hello and Welcome!

I am Mr. Paris and I am one of the 7th grade Social Studies teachers here at Horizon Middle School. I am 24 years old and I have taught for about half a year here at Horizon, and I have turored for many years. I graduated from the Univesity of Colorado Colorado Springs in May of 2023 with a Bachelors of Arts in the department of History and I have a Secondary Intial Licensure Social Studies certificate. I have also earned an Advanced Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and completed a course of Introduction to Family Engagement in Education from HarvardX. 

I have moved 16 times and I have attended 2 elemenatry schools, 2 middle schools, 3 highschools, and 3 different colleges. I have lived in Hawaii  In my spare time I love to paint, hike, watch movies, and practice photogrpahy. I love to travel! I have traveld all across the globe. I have visited Italy, France, England, and Scotland, I love going on roadtrips and exploring the USA!

I am thrilled to share my expericences and knowledge with my 7th graders and watching them grow throughout the year!
